GEYLANG UNITED FC SOCCER CAMP FOR KIDS, AGED 7 - 15 Offer Extended!!!!!! Geylang United FC with the support of South East Community Development Council and Diadora is once again organising Young Eagles Soccer (YES) Camp from 10th - 13th December 2008. This is our twelfth year.
A major appeal of this camp is that we are using the Singapore Sports School as our training grounds. Also, the young soccer enthusiasts can get up close with Geylang United FC's S. League Players such as Nor Ali, Jonathan Xu, Syed Thaha and our coaches such as Lim Tong Hai, Stephen Ng, D. Tokijan and Samawira.
This YES Camp is the finale of our South East Eagles Kids Football (SEEKF) or commonly referred to as Sunday football, a 28-week programme conducted by our Club from 30th March to 12th October 08.
Both the SEEKF and YES Camp are geared towards Geylang United's vision of having an excellent youth development programme, with the objective of nurturing the next generation of professional footballers.

$235 non member (aft Nov $255) Download Form Here SOUTHEAST EAGLES KIDS FOOTBALL (SEEKF) CERTIFICATE PRESENTATION CEREMONY
The Geylang United FC clubhouse was abuzz with children enthusiastically playing happily amidst their examination period. It was Geylang United FC's South East Eagles Kids Football (SEEKF) end of programme certificate presentation ceremony.
A total of 90 kids from ages 7 to 13 years old have completed the programme. They spent about 30 Sundays from 30th March to 12th October at the Bedok Stadium learning basic skills and practising football drills. The kids also have improved their interpersonal skills through interaction with the other participants. In addition, there was a friendly match Albirex Niigata football kids on the 5th October at Bedok Stadium.
The kids were each given a certificate on their completion of the programme by the General Manager of South East Community Development Council (South East CDC), Mr Terence Ho and Mr Koh Mui Tee, Geylang United FC General Manager.
Geylang United Football Club is the only football club adopted by the South East CDC in the South East District. The South East CDC also supports the 12th annual Young Eagles Soccer (YES) Camp which will be held at the Singapore Sports School from 10th to 13th December 2008. EAGLES APPOINTS MIKE WONG AS ASSISTANT COACH
Geylang United Football Club (GUFC) has appointed Mr Mike Wong, 43, to take over the Eagles' S League team as assistant coach with effect from 1st November 2008. He has an AFC Professional Coaching License and was Tanjong Pagar United's Prime League coach in 2002. "I am honored to be working for Geylang United FC because of the club's rich history and hope to contribute to building up a formidable team again," said Wong. Lim Tong Hai will continue as caretaker coach for the remaining season this year. 11th EAGLES GOLF DAY
Geylang United FC Golf Day Organising Committee was busy with the preparation of our annual Golf Day which was held in Orchid Country Club on the 17th October 2008. We had 144 golfers and about 200 people attended the dinner in the evening.
Everbody from the committee to the football division put in alot of hard work raising funds. In total, we have raised a total of $140,800 in spite of the current economic situation, as mentioned by our Chairman, Mr Patrick Ang in a speech at the start of the dinner.
